Mister Floor got its mojo back! With a new name, fresh visual identity, and bold branding, Vloerist came to life. From a playful mascot to a festive unveiling, this project brought renewal with character. Read on and discover how we prepared this brand for the future!

In search of the mojo
Harry and Sophie, the passionate force behind the Antwerp flooring store Mister Floor, came to us with an exciting challenge. Since its founding in 1984, Mister Floor had established itself as a trusted name, but its visual identity and brand strategy hadn’t been touched since. To Harry, the brand felt worn out: “The structure is missing, the mojo is gone,” he told us honestly.
His request was clear: “Give Mister Floor an identity that can grow with the ambitious future I envision.”

Vloerist: A name with impact
We began with an in-depth analysis of Mister Floor to understand how the brand and its name were perceived. Through surveys and interviews, we mapped out the value the name still held and what was missing. This research made one thing clear: to bring Harry’s vision to life, a name change was essential.
In a creative workshop with the client, the name Vloerist was born, a name that embodies exactly what Harry envisioned: young, human, and bold.








Branding in every detail
The new name provided us with a solid foundation to visually establish Vloerist with impact. We developed a brand guide full of elements that make the brand shine: a modern logo, fresh colors, distinctive typography, and unique brand elements. To give the brand even more personality, we created a mascot,a playful plank character that makes Vloerist instantly recognizable.
The result? A brand identity that speaks, stands out, and is ready to grow.
Based on this brand guide, we crafted an extensive range of POS materials tailored to the daily needs of a flooring store. Think business cards, stickers, flooring labels, and beach flags for trade shows. Every detail was designed to extend Vloerist’s recognizable identity down to the smallest elements.

Revealed in celebration
To celebrate this complete transformation with Harry’s loyal customer base (read: fans), we organized a grand reveal event. As a large curtain fell, the new branding was unveiled to the excitement of everyone in attendance.
